Volunteer Brazil will only host international volunteer groups that are already made up.The minimum size of mission volunteer groups is 12-20 members.

Usually volunteer groups are from different backgrounds but come together because of common bonds, including family, workplace colleagues, church members, Rotary, Lyons and other service clubs, Golden Age associations, community volunteer associations and many other types of volunteer groups. Also, volunteer teams include different professionals such as doctors, nurses, teachers, professors, lawyers, accountants, university students, and the list goes on.

Volunteers need not have any special or technical skills, just the willingness to learn and serve. The most important ability necessary to volunteer is the desire to help others and the ability to enjoy yourself in the process.

Each project has an associated fee in order to be implemented. Volunteers will fundraise or ask for donation from their personal network. Volunteer Brazil will make the project work and have all the logistical factors in place prior to the arrival of the volunteer team.
