Once the volunteer team
has decided about the team members, the team leader and the confirmed
mission date, you will contact Volunteer Brazil and request the
forms to be filled out by each team member (as explained before). These
forms will be filled out and returned immediately to Volunteer Brazil.
Volunteer Brazil only hosts 01 volunteer group per month therefore make your reservation for the desired month as soon as possible. The US$250 deposit will be paid when the reservation is confirmed. Full payment will be required within 30 days of departure. Once the deposit is received, the volunteer group will receive an official letter of invitation from the City of Parnaíba and from Volunteer Brazil.
Payment will be made to our US non-profit organization that will provide the receipt for the volunteer experience in Brazil. Consequently all expenses associated with your participation on a Volunteer Brazil program, including airplane tickets provided by our travel department, are tax-deductible. You will bring back from Brazil photos of your volunteer mission, the Certificate of Participation, copies of newspaper articles and any other media coverage, as well as your Volunteer Brazil “Blue Heart” alumni membership package.
