The scenery of the Delta includes dunes over 40 meters high, transparent lakes, forest swamps and labyrinthine channels. The practice of water sports and the emotion of navigating in the labyrinth of the igarapes (small branching rivers), surrounded by mangroves similar to the Amazon forest, are breathtaking.
All of this is close to the infrastructure of the city of Parnaiba, the Delta Capital, where is also located the cleanest lake in Brazil, the Portinho Lake.
